Is your website working right now?
Pingstead opens it every five minutes from three countries and answers in plain words: it works, it works with a problem, or it does not open.
No payment details. Nothing to install on your server.
Yes, example.com works.
It opened from all three places 2 minutes ago.

How does it work?
Three things happen. You do only the first one, once.
You add your site
Enter its address. Nothing to install on your server.
We open it, together
Every five minutes, from three countries at the same moment.
You get the answer
In your account, in plain words, with the details one click away.
When does a site count as down?
We count votes. Every five minutes three places try to open your site; a place that fails tries once more after 10 seconds. If most of them still fail, the site does not open. If only one fails, it works — with a problem in that country.
| Amsterdam | Bangalore | San Francisco | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| Opened | Opened | Opened | Works |
| Opened | Did not open | Opened | Works, not from India |
| Did not open | Did not open | Opened | Does not open |
A red vote counts only if the second try, 10 seconds later, also fails. One bad connection is never an alarm.
